Tip: turn the phone sideways for a bigger picture. Your progress and saves are kept on this device.
No saved games yet. Save from inside the game (💾 button) and your saves will appear here.
Graphics:
Switches instantly, any time — the classic DOS game always runs underneath.
Renderer GPU (the default) draws the HD scene on the graphics card; CPU is the previous compositor, still selectable. The GPU/CPU button on the game screen flips it live.
Game data:
Waiting…
The whole game is installed on this device and plays from local storage. Uninstall removes the game data — savegames are kept — and the title screen offers Install again.
Memory in use:
Waiting for the game to start…
This is RAM, not disk — the artwork the game is holding ready right now, separate from what is stored on the device above. When it fills, the least recently used artwork is dropped and re-read from storage on the next visit to that room.
Sound & text:
The Special Edition's own font (MinisterT, straight from the game's files) instead of the DOS bitmap letters — what the retail HD mode draws. DOS mode always keeps the DOS font; switch back here if you prefer it in HD too.
Touch control style:
The Secret of Monkey Island — original game by Lucasfilm Games (1990).
Ultimate Talkie DOS Edition — fan-made voice restoration project splicing the CD Special Edition voice-over track onto the original DOS release.
ScummVM — the GPL-licensed engine interpreting the game data, compiled to WebAssembly for this app.
This app is a private, personal build for the owner's own use only — not for redistribution.
